Arborist of the Year

The Arborist of the Year Award acknowledges the services, actions, and ideas of an individual or work group that has made a “substantial personal / business contribution to practical arboriculture” in the Rocky Mountain Chapter. Nominations may be made to recognize significant achievements, life changing experiences, innovations, selfless acts to promote trees, and / or substantial impacts to support the practice, technology, and research of arboriculture.

Gene Eyerly Award

The Gene Eyerly Award for Outstanding Service recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a sustained commitment in achieving the mission and goals of the International Society of Arboriculture Rocky Mountain Chapter:

Chapter Mission: Through outreach and education, foster an appreciation for trees in the Rocky Mountain Region and support the practice, technology, and research of arboriculture.

This award was developed to recognize those individuals who have selflessly dedicated many years of their lives and/or careers to trees, and deserve recognition from the Chapter.

Gold Leaf Award

The Gold Leaf Award consists of two categories, to include Community Landscape Beautification and Arbor Day Activities. The Community Landscape Beautification Award is awarded to individuals, organizations, or municipalities that have made significant contributions in the fields of environmental protection, conservation, beautification, or other landscape activities, which have had a positive impact in promoting tree care and preservation. The Arbor Day Activity Award is awarded to individuals, organizations, or municipalities that have orchestrated, hosted or promoted an Arbor Day event that has drawn the support of the community to promote the education and support of the care and preservation of arboriculture.
